The Worst Day

I had the worst day ever today... well I might have gone into it the wrong way. Last night I had a really bad headache and then stayed up way to late so this morning I did not want to get up and I definitely did NOT want to go to work. But I decided I couldn't call in sick and leave poor Jill stuck in bed with all three kids home from school on holiday. So I got up (10 minutes before I needed to leave) and I went to work and was greeted before I even got out of the car with trouble. Cole and Mackay just would not stop fighting and Cole was crying about every little thing and tattling and just being obnoxious. I could tell they were getting on Jill's nerves too and so she sent me off with them, acting up and all, to buy Halloween costumes. SO with my bad mood and their bad moods it was not a good outing and it turned into battle when I told Jessica that she had to go to Sylvan Learning Center today. She was so bratty to her mom! To top the whole day off... Mackay cut his finger with shrub cutters and had to have it super glued shut! GRRRR! I hope tomorrow is better. I think I will make sure I get more sleep tonight too. I am SO thankful that the kids will all be back in school tomorrow.
