Tubing

My sister invited me up to spend last weekend with her and her family so we could celebrate my birthday a few days late. We made plans to go tubing (down a snow covered hill not behind a boat). I've been tubing before so I was super excited to go. There was just one little snag in our plans, it was RAINING!!! that's right the middle of January in Park City Utah and it doesn't have the decency to snow instead of raining! Well we went anyway, even if the rain turned the snow to slush and made all the tubes go super slow and stop before the end of the hill. Also we were drenched before the two hours we paid for were up. I was wearing waterproof snow clothes but even they weren't enough! OK so I stayed mainly dry except for my coat that decided not to be water proof on one elbow and my boots didn't stay dry as long as the should have so my feet were sopping by the time we left. All and all it was a really fun day. Even if the kids wanted to go inside and get dry after about 45 minutes. When we were all done and went home to get dry we went out to dinner for my birthday. We were going to go to the Texas Roadhouse (which is amazing) but the wait for a table for 9 was more than 2 hours! So we got back in the car, went to Chili's and were done with our meal before we would have been seated at the Roadhouse. when there are 4 little kids to think about you can't wait 2 hours for food! But it was still a really good meal. I love my sister and how she spoils me when I go to visit her!
